Trattoria al Forno: Authentic Italian Dining at Disney's Boardwalk

We dined here for the first time on a Monday night. Even with a reservation, we had to wait nearly 30 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. After being seated, we again had a longer than normal wait for our server to come to our table. Once the food and drink order was taken, we only saw our waiter two other times. Drinks sat empty for quite some time. Fortunately, the food was very good. We started with the complimentary bread which was served with roasted garlic in olive oil. The olive oil/garlic was very good, but the bread was just okay. Our party had the Red Wine-braised Short Rib ($37), Shrimp Pappardelle ($34),Calamari ($18), Crispy Pancetta Arancini ($16) and the Truffle Gnocchi ($30). All of the food was good, but the portion sizes were small for the price with the exception of the Calamari and the Arancini. Even considering this is Disney, I believe there are better options in this price range. We most likely would not choose to dine here again.

Best breakfast at Disney, hands down. Been here for dinner which was also excellent and breakfast did not disappoint. Spencer was our server and he was great, friendly and on top of everything. Will be back and highly recommend.

Absolutely Phenomenal!!!!!! From the moment we stepped into this charming Italian restaurant on Disney Boardwalk, we were blown away. The ambiance was incredibly inviting, and the service was impeccable. Our waitress, Alejandro on the first night and John on the second night, were attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. But the real star of the show was the Chef! Chef Thief truly showcased her culinary expertise. The shrimp pasta was a masterpiece - perfectly cooked shrimp with a rich, flavorful sauce. The gnocchi was melting in my mouth, simply divine. And let's not forget the desserts….. absolutely heavenly. A special shout-out to Manager Jessica for ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. If you're looking for an unforgettable Italian meal in Disney boardwalk, look no further! This restaurant is a must-try.

We’ve tried this restaurant several times for breakfast and dinner. Overall they are consistently good and typically have reservations available. We particularly like their breakfast and appreciate it for its unique options if you’re tired of American Breakfast. We love their Eggs al Forno and breakfast pizza. Steak and Eggs while well executed had an odd flavor that our party did not like. Mickey waffles weren’t great, I’ve had better ones on property. For dinner we loved their lasagna. Caesar salad was ok, could use more dressing and croutons. Bread was passable for being free. Chicken Parmesan was disappointing, the flavor was good but chicken was tough. Convenient location on the boardwalk! All in all we’d come back for breakfast or the lasagna again. As much as we liked the breakfast pizza I would try a regular pizza.

Came in for dinner on a Sunday (06/08/2025). Food came fast and hot (except the bruschetta, was chilled). Server Justin was friendly and attentive. Truffle gnocchi was superb and bruschetta was excellent. Definitely coming back. Only gripe is it's a little loud but it's Disney casual dining.

FOOD I have had the joy of dining here several times. The breakfast and dinner menus are varied and expertly crafted, making me look forward to my next visit. On this occasion, we began with Tomato Bruschetta topped with fresh mozzarella as our appetizer. We also greatly appreciated the complimentary rolls served with a garlic oil dip. For our main course, we shared a freshly made Pizza Margherita. SERVICE The service was warm and welcoming. Our waiter provided some excellent suggestions. ATMOSPHERE This venue is conveniently situated just off the Boardwalk. The lobby is on the small side and can get crowded during peak hours, which may necessitate waiting outside until your name is called. The dining room offers a dim, serene atmosphere, creating an ideal setting to enjoy a tranquil and delightful meal.

Among the places at Disney World that you can have breakfast I really recommend making your way to the boardwalk (easy walk from the Yacht & Beach Club and Swan & Dolphin Resorts), this is among the best places to come. The food is excellent, the wait staff is super pleasant and the atmosphere of the place is beautiful as well. The staff made recommendations, had us sample items from the menu (and some that apparently weren't on the menu either). Next time we are down there I'd love to come back and enjoy dinner there as well. If it nearly as good as breakfast is, this place is amazing.

Good Italian food on the boardwalk at Disney. The chicken parm is great and worth a try as are the arancini’s and bread appetizers. The drinks are good and this is nearby the abracadabar which is another alternative for drinks.
